Roxbury District Court

On October 14, after months of being held without bail, client walked out of the court room, a free man. It only took the jury 3 hours to find him not guilty on all five criminal charges. Client, had been held without bail since July when violations of his conditions of release prompted the district attorney to request a dangerousness hearing. The hearing was brief but resulted in a loss of freedom for the accused, while the case inched closer to trial. Although the wheels of justice can turn very slowly, client, held without bail, would have to wait for his day in court behind bars.

On October 7, 2014 the trial began. On October 14, 2014 it was over. With no physical evidence or first hand witnesses, the commonwealth’s case consisted almost entirely of circumstantial evidence. The jury returned a verdict of Not Guilty on all five of the charges.
