POSSESSION CLASS B WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE -DISMISSED

4-19-19 Roxbury Municipal Court. Client was arrested and held for a probation violation after a short chase through the area of the south end known as the “methadone mile”. Client who was associating with a known drug user in a high crime area had drawn the attention of local police. Due to a recent changing of the guards in the District Attorney’s office and an exceedingly reasonable and sympathetic district attorney, case was dismissed. Client was delighted. Family was emotional and optimistic that he would stay on track after what they hoped would be a successful motion to reconsider in Barnstable county.
